Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in the Leeds area.Role: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)Location: OtleySalary: £45,000 - £50,000Shifts: Week 1: Work 4 consecutive night shifts, followed by 3 days off.Week 2: Work 3 consecutive day shifts, have 1 day off, and then work 3 consecutive night shifts.Week 3: Have 3 days off, followed by 4 consecutive day shifts.Week 4: Have 7 consecutive days off. Benefits: Holidays are 30 days ( 3 days xmas shut down) Pension 3% contributionDeath in service x 4 salary Fruit in canteen Free parking Key Responsibilities: Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Proficient in using hand and power tools.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and teamwork skills.Relevant mechanical engineering or technical qualification is preferred.
