Mechanical Estates Manager (Band 7) – NHSLocation: West LondonContract: 3 monthsRate: £31.45 per hour (umbrella)We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Estates Manager to oversee mechanical engineering and water safety services across multiple London sites.What you’ll doManage mechanical engineering and water safety systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and NHS standards.Act as Authorised Person for key systems and lead on planned preventative maintenance (PPM).Oversee maintenance contracts, ensuring performance and value for money.Control budgets, benchmark services, and identify efficiency improvements.Support design, specification, and commissioning of minor and capital projects.Lead and develop in-house teams, including training and performance reviews.Participate in the on-call rota for emergencies and major incidents.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and manage permits-to-work.What we’re looking forDegree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.Significant experience managing mechanical and water safety systems.Budget management and contract administration expertise.Authorised Person for water safety, ventilation, pressure systems, and medical gas.NHS experience.Full driving licence.
