• Job Description
• As a Mechanical Engineer , you will join Derby team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector.
• You will support design activities using Siemens NX and Teamcenter, contributing to the creation, management, and release of mechanical design data in a highly regulated engineering environment. This role offers the opportunity to develop hands-on experience working alongside senior engineers on complex, high-integrity systems.
• Location: Derby
• On Site: 2 times per week
• Clearance: BPSS
• Experience Level: 1- 5 YOE

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and modify 3D models and engineering drawings using Siemens NX
• Manage design data, revisions, and configuration control within Teamcenter
• Support mechanical design development under guidance from senior engineers
• Assist with preparation of technical documentation and design deliverables
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design integration
• Follow quality and configuration management processes in a regulated environment
• Qualifications

Required Skills

• Practical experience using Siemens NX
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter PLM
• Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and configuration discipline
• Ability to work within structured engineering processes

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in nuclear, power generation, or other safety-critical industries
• Knowledge of ONR safety principles, INPO guidance, or similar regulatory frameworks
