Mechanical Design Engineer Elevation are working with a growing engineering business to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer into a well-established design team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on product development and wants to be involved across the full lifecycle, from concept and R&D through to testing, installation, and customer support. This role would suit someone with a genuine passion for engineering, strong mechanical design fundamentals, and the confidence to work collaboratively across projects. Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies is essential. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will: Support ongoing projects alongside an experienced design team Contribute to R&D activity and future product development plans Produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation Create and develop 3D models using SolidWorks (training available if required) Apply machining tolerances and design for manufacture principles Liaise with Project Managers, providing clear technical feedback and test documentation Assemble components and support practical testing activities Carry out fault analysis and support continuous improvement Work directly with customers and assist the sales team with technical queries Occasionally travel overseas to support installation and commissioning activities About You Proven experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role (or similar) Strong SolidWorks experience and understanding of machining tolerances Background in mechanical component and assembly design Exposure to pump systems or similar engineered products is a strong advantage Comfortable communicating both ver
