Maths Teacher - The Wirral

Pay: £150 - £220 per day, dependent on experience and placement.

The Role and Your Duties:

We have opportunities available in all areas of the Wirral, including:

• Birkenhead (CH41, CH42)
• Wallasey (CH44, CH45)
• Prenton (CH43)
• Heswall (CH60, CH61)
• West Kirby & Hoylake (CH47, CH48)
• Upton & Greasby (CH49)
• Bebington & Bromborough (CH62, CH63)
• Ellesmere Port & Neston (CH64, CH65, CH66)

As a Maths Teacher, your key responsibilities will be:

• Delivering outstanding lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
• Fostering a love for mathematics through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
• Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
• Maintaining a positive and safe classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.
• Collaborating effectively with the wider school staff and science department.

Skills and Qualifications Needed:

To be a successful candidate, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one).
