This is a Full-Time,teacher of Mathematics position based in the Wakefield area, starting ASAP. The successful candidate will join a thriving and high-achieving department, contributing to the delivery of Maths across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (including Sixth Form). This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced professionals, offering dedicated support and mentorship for those new to the profession. Essential Requirements
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven ability to teach outstanding lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across the 11-18 age range.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Differentiate instruction effectively to cater to the needs of students of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of schemes of work within the Maths department.
- Participate in whole-school and departmental continuous professional development (CPD).
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities or school events.
- Undertake pastoral duties and provide guidance to students where required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the Maths curriculum and best teaching practices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
