The Role The Material Supply Chain Lead is a newly created role responsible for coordinating the inbound, storage, and outbound flow of raw material between the Smurfit Westrock raw material Supplier and the Markham Vale North Distribution Centre (Markham Vale North) and ensuring the timely transport of raw material to Smurfit Westrock Markham Vale (Markham Vale Production) as required. This role will play a critical part in onboarding and embedding a new operating process, taking a hands-on and proactive approach to ensure a constant, eUicient and undisrupted supply of raw material to production. The Material Supply Chain Lead will act as the central point of coordination across Warehousing, Transport and Supply Chain activities, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities  Log and report safety incidents, hazards and near misses, while actively challenging unsafe behaviours. Participate in the root cause analysis of safety incidents and hazards, and support the development, implementation, and follow up of corrective and preventative actions.  Manage the eUicient unloading, storage and loading of raw material, ensuring product is stored and dispatched in full and in line with operational requirements.  Manage a team to conduct quality checks o
