Material Handler IILocation: HeyshamSalary: £12.65 per hourShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating weekly, Week 1: 08:00 - 16:00 Week 2: 09:30 - 17:30We're looking for a reliable Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Heysham. You'll be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders (both UK and Export), maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring health & safety standards are met.Key Responsibilities: Pick and pack shipments accurately following pick lists and shipping guidelinesLabel and prepare items for UK and export in line with transport regulationsLoad shipments and complete all required paperworkUse third-party systems (e.g. couriers, MSDS)Keep stock levels of consumables replenishedOperate warehouse equipment (after training) and report faultsMaintain records and comply with security and safety policiesSupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Requirements: Previous warehouse experience (preferred)Attention to detail and focus on qualityForklift license (beneficial but not essential)Willingness to follow processes and maintain high safety standardsMust be eligible to work in the UK What We Offer: Full PPE providedSupportive team environmentOnsite training providedPotential for contract extensionOpportunity to gain experience in export logistics and third-party systems Apply now and a member of our team will be in touch
