Job Purpose
- The Marketing Executive is a key role focused on driving the success of our events. This position supports multi-channel marketing campaigns to boost traffic, generate leads, and engage our community and sponsors. You will be instrumental in planning, executing, and optimising marketing efforts to achieve measurable results, including creating compelling content and collaborating with designers. The role also involves ensuring accurate sponsor listings and leveraging CRM systems for lead management and data organisation. A crucial aspect is monitoring campaign performance against key metrics, providing post-event reports, and contributing to the testing of new campaign strategies. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure campaign objectives are met and sponsor expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns for our events, focusing on driving traffic, generating leads, and engaging our community.
- Creating compelling marketing materials and writing persuasive copy for various platforms.
- Collaborating with designers to produce engaging visual assets for campaigns.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sponsor listings on event websites.
- Developing precise audience targeting strategies in collaboration with the Global Events Manager.
- Leveraging CRM systems to manage inbound leads, opportunities, and enquiries.
- Compiling and organising data lists to support campaign delivery and sales initiatives.
- Monitoring and optimising campaign performance against key metrics (revenue, web traffic, lead generation, conversions).
- Producing post-event reports and ROI summaries for sponsors.
- Contributing to the testing and evaluation of new campaign formats, creative concepts, and messaging strategies.
- Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure campaign success.
- Qualifications
Skills & Experience Required
- Marketing Foundation: Solid understanding of marketing principles and tools, with a practical grasp of how to apply them effectively across different platforms.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of your work.
- Data Savvy: Comfortable working with data, confidently navigating spreadsheets, dashboards, and reports to extract insights and inform decisions.
- Communication Skills: Your writing skills allow you to craft clear, engaging content, while your strong verbal communication and presentation abilities enable you to convey ideas persuasively to different audiences.
