The role
About us
- Act as first point of contact for timber customers, both internal and external.
- Issue PINs via telephone to facilitate uplift of timber from the Welsh Government Woodland Estate.
- Complete timber despatch processes as required e.g. PIN exceptions and PIN checks, instances of overloading, etc.
- Update weight ticket data within our Timber Sales System and undertake checks as required.
About us
- The Timber Sales and Marketing Team sits within the Communications, Customer and Commercial directorate in NRW.
- The team is tasked with compliantly delivering against targets for timber income, volume and customer care standards set out in the business plan and Timber Marketing Plan.
