- Role Description
- An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with a passion for analytics to join a high performing team, working for a number 1 brand
- As part of the leadership of our Pet Analytics & Insight team, working across a portfolio of pet insurance brands, including the market leader Petplan, you will lead our team of analysts to deliver specialised, scalable analytics capabilities across the pet portfolio to drive customer acquisition, centricity and loyalty.
- This position is available on a hybrid basis working both from home and our offices in Datchet Ditton Park.
- Salary Information
- Pay: Circa £80k per year.
- Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
- About You
Reporting directly to the Head of Analytics & Insight, you will
- Be responsible for delivering the analytics and insight strategy across our pet brands
- Be responsible for the delivery of strategic projects to innovate our data visualisation capabilities and ensure they deliver accurate and relevant information to underpin delivery of our ambitious profitable growth objectives
- Lead and manage a team of analysts, across varied data domains, sharing and promoting knowledge, skills and best working practices within the team
- Work collaboratively with internal functional areas and external stakeholders to deliver the Pet Strategy
- Work to embed strong data governance frameworks for all data processes ensuring corporate governance and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with internal and external customers to gather requirements for reporting or analysis
- Design and build data or reporting outputs to meet the agreed customer requirements, anticipating future use and supporting business users of the data
- Collates and quality assures range of data for reporting and analysis. Provide accurate, timely and actionable business information using a range of systems and software
- Essential Skills
- Experience in embedding new data visualisation tools within an organization and improving data literacy
- Familiar with driving customer acquisition, and loyalty through developing and delivering data- driven marketing solutions
- Experience in a leadership role with responsibility for managing a team of direct reports
- Comfortable working alongside senior leadership in a dynamic environment
- Effective in managing relationships with external third-party suppliers
- Previous experience of working with, managing and influencing IT teams, third-party suppliers internal/ external stakeholders
- Confident leading cross-team projects/change initiatives from a business perspective
- Experience of effective relational database design, database management and querying databases
- Experience creating effective performance reporting
- Degree level in a numerate subject such as Maths, Science, Engineering, IT, Psychology with statistical focus
- Desirable Skills
- Experience using AI to deliver relevant insight that drives action
