Position Summary Why join our team? Samsung UK has high aspirations for it’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) department and is committed to investing in DTC to drive total Samsung UK growth. This role sits within the centralised Data team, which is at the heart of the DTC department. The Data team plays a crucial role to ensure DTC are making data driven decisions wherever possible, spanning Commercial, Website and Marketing teams. The Data team has matured significantly in recent years and are now seeking a Marketing Analytics Lead who will use their experience to advise, challenge and help our business grow. Role and Responsibilities Your key responsibilities The Marketing Analytics Lead will be responsible for providing strategic insights into the performance of Samsung DTC’s paid, owned, and organic marketing efforts, ensuring data-driven decision-making and improving marketing investment decisions. This role will own the measurement framework, manage relationships with marketing agencies, and ensure alignment with business goals. Data driven decision-making: Utilise analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe, Looker) and digital marketing platforms (Google, Meta, Affiliates, SEO, CRM) to extract, compare and present insights. Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing performance across paid, owned, and organic channels. Translate complex marketing analysis into a clear story, with actionable business recommendations, which are understandable to non-specialists. Train and mentor marketing team members on analytics tools and best practices Enable automation and encourage self-serve to improve data literacy and accessibility. Measurement Strategy & Optimisation: Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing measurement plan, with focus on understanding the incrementality of our paid digital marketing (Search, Social, Affiliates). Use the measurement plan to partner with the marketing team and external agencies to inform cross-channel investment decisions. Lead incrementality testing plan to optimise budget allocation across channels. Work with key partners to continuously improve marketing efficiency and ensure measurement plan adoption. Monitor competitor landscape and market trends to inform strategy across all channels. Agency management: Collaborate with external agencies to implement best-in-class measurement practices. Align agency deliverables with internal measurement frameworks and business objectives Ensure adherence to analytics and reporting standards across all marketing channels. Drive cross-functional alignment between internal teams and agencies. Deliver regular reports and presentations to key stakeholders to inform strategy. What we need for this role This role requires someone with demonstrable experience in marketing analytics, as well as previous experience managing measurement frameworks and analysing multi-channel performance. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable working with cross-functional teams and isn’t afraid to share their opinion. They should be happy to problem solve, form recommendations and use their expertise to persuade stakeholders with differing levels of marketing and analytical understanding. Essential Hard Skills: Extensive marketing analytics experience. Proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms. Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (Google, Meta). Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (Looker). Essential Soft Skills: Willing to challenge peers and leaders through questioning, prioritisation and planning Able to translate business priorities in to a complimentary analytics roadmap Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills, translating data into business insights. Experience in driving data-driven decision-making across teams. What does success look like?
