Working in a fast paced, short/medium production run environment, working to high tolerances for a precision engineering manufacturing business that can offer job security with a strong order book. We are now looking for a Manual Grinder Machinist to strengthen the production team in order to grow with the demand of the order books.
The ideal Grinding Machinist with have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:
Time served engineering apprenticeship
Be able to program/edit online at the machine
Experience within a precision engineering environment beneficial
- Competent working with handheld measuring devices associated in a machine shop environment - micrometres, verniers and various gauges.
Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings
These are permanent day shift positions
