- We are seeking a highly accomplished Managing Consultant to join our Digital Trust & Cyber Security practice, focusing on Financial Services. The opportunity is to shape and grow a high-impact consulting practice, advising global financial institutions on digital security, operational resilience, third party risk management (TPRM), Data privacy, regulatory compliance, and emerging cyber risks.
- The ideal candidate will have deep financial services expertise, a strong C-suite network, and a track record of originating and delivering complex cyber security and digital trust engagements. This role requires someone who can operate at the highest levels, guiding clients through the evolving challenges of digital risk, cyber resilience and regulatory scrutiny.
- You will engage and sell to your network of leading FS executives, in particular CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, Heads of Data Privacy and Heads of Operational Resilience, You'll also collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to grow our portfolio of customers and projects, and will lead teams to deliver digital trust programmes of significant scale.
- Qualifications
- Essential requirements ✅
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in a consulting organisation or a consulting style role, ideally in a consulting organisation or a consulting style role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale cyber security projects and engagements.
- Deep understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align cyber security strategies with organizational goals.
- Excellent client management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

- Strategic Leadership & Thought Leadership
- Shape and lead the firm’s Digital Trust & Cyber Security strategy, ensuring alignment with financial services sector needs.
- Provide expert guidance on specialist areas such as identity & access management (IAM), zero-trust architectures, cloud security, and data privacy frameworks, payment systems, fraud detection, digital banking security, and third-party/vendor risk management.
- Advise financial institutions on regulatory compliance (e.g., FCA/PRA, - relevant regulations, , ISO 27001, NIST, CSF, Data Privacy regulation).
- Act as a thought leader, contributing to industry forums, white papers, and public discussions on digital security, cyber risks, and operational resilience.
- Client Development & Business Growth
- Leverage an extensive C-suite network (CISOs, CROs, CTOs, CIOs, and board members) to drive business development and build long-term client relationships.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor in digital trust, cyber security, and resilience consulting.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring revenue growth and client retention in the financial sector.
- Lead high-profile client engagements, from origination to execution, ensuring measurable impact and business outcomes.
- Cyber Security, Digital Trust & Compliance Expertise
- Advise clients in areas such as identity & access management (IAM), zero-trust architectures, cloud security, data privacy frameworks, fraud detection, digital banking security, and third-party/vendor risk management.
- Support financial institutions in achieving compliance with evolving regulations, enhancing operational resilience and cyber incident response capabilities.
- Develop cyber risk frameworks that embed security-by-design principles into digital transformation initiatives.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Continue to help us build and lead a high-performing team of cyber security, risk, and digital trust specialists.
- Mentor and develop future leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and thought leadership.
- Contribute to recruitment efforts, identifying top-tier talent to grow the firm’s cyber security and digital trust capabilities.
