  • The Manager of Materials Management will oversee supply chain and inventory management at Community Hospital North. This position is responsible for overseeing site operations as well as process workflows, team growth, and performance. The Manager works with department Directors on overall facility management plans and has full working knowledge of all department roles and responsibilities. This position works with the Director of Materials Management in developing the team, process needs, staffing, budget process, and department communications. The Manager of Materials Management represents Supply Chain distribution on the Network Value Analysis team and meets with the clinical department leaders to assess supply needs. This position represents Supply Chain in all site management meetings, site construction, and projects, providing input to supply chain functions.
  • Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
  • Applicants for this position should have a strong understanding of the entire logistical process for supply chain. Applicants can manage projects and assignments from start to completion, create contingency plans, and handle multiple tasks competently.
  • Four (4) years of distribution or supply chain experience is preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • High school diploma or a GED is required.
  • Associate Degree is preferred.
  • Thinking critically and independently resolves problems.
  • Adapts to a variety of situations, change, and new learnings, and works well under pressure.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, is detail-oriented, organized, and builds effective relationships through collaboration.
