Macildowie are working with a well-established organisation based in Northampton to recruit a Management Accountant into a key role within their finance team. This position offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to develop strong commercial and business-facing skills. This is a great role for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant who enjoys producing high-quality management information and wants to play an active role in supporting business performance. You'll work closely with operational teams, providing accurate reporting, insight, and analysis to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysisSupport budgeting and forecasting cyclesProduce detailed financial analysis to support performance reviewsAssist with cost control, margin analysis, and profitability reportingSupport business partnering with non-finance stakeholdersMaintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracyContribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reportingSupport audit and statutory reporting as required Experience Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailConfident communicator with the ability to explain financial information clearlyProactive, organised, and keen to develop commerciallyStrong Excel skills; systems/ERP experience advantageous This role would suit someone looking to build on their technical accounting skills while developing commercial insight and stakeholder engagement.
