Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement and driving efficiencies across the finance department. The successful candidate will partner with key stakeholders across the business to deliver insightful and accurate financial analysis. Key Responsibilities: Timely preparation of monthly management accountsMonth-end journal postings, including prepayments and accrualsBalance sheet reconciliationsMonth-end and ad-hoc reportingMonitoring business performance against budget and forecastPreparation of variance analysis and commentaryMaintenance of the fixed asset registerSupport in the preparation of the monthly board packCollaborating with teams across the business to gather inputs for budgets and forecastsBuilding and maintaining strong internal relationshipsSupporting departments with expenditure management and financial insightManaging external relationshipsLiaising with external auditors, responding to audit queries and sample requestsEnsuring the timely completion of National Statistics returns Skills & Experience CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualifiedStrong IT and analytical skills, with advanced level ExcelExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesFlexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing business needs Benefits 25 days holiday plus bank holidaysFree onsite parkingPension schemeGym membershipEmployee perks
