This pivotal role offers the opportunity to provide essential financial support and insights that aid performance monitoring and business improvement across multiple contracts. They are seeking a part-qualified Accountant who is actively studying towards becoming qualified. Day-to-day of the role: Act as the key finance contact for regional managers, producing monthly management accounts and customer invoices.Review site trading accounts, providing variance analysis and commentary.Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned contracts.Manage budget preparation for regional managers, ensuring accuracy and proper system integration.Review and validate weekly site bookwork, including purchase invoices, stock values, cash reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.Perform weekly and monthly supplier statement reconciliations using Microsoft Excel and manual methods.Liaise with customers, suppliers, and unit managers to resolve queries.Assist with weekly BACS and internet payment processes, producing remittance advices for payments.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company health and safety procedures.Provide support and cover for other members of the finance team as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or finalist Management Accountant.Strong financial and IT skills, particularly in Microsoft applications.
