A fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing, fast-moving organisation where finance plays a central role in driving business performance.This business has quadrupled in size over the last five years and continues to expand rapidly — offering excellent scope for progression and development.The Role:Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll take ownership of the management accounts process and play a key part in improving systems and processes as the business continues to evolve.Key responsibilities include:Full ownership of month-end processes and preparation of management accounts with clear, insightful commentaryProduction of accurate profit statements for stakeholdersSupporting the transition to a new accounting systemContinuous improvement of processes and controlsAccruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT returnsTrend and variance analysis to identify performance driversSupporting and developing colleagues across the wider finance teamSupervising a small team as the role developsAbout You:Qualified or finalist ACCA / CIMA / ACAExperienced Management Accountant or ambitious Assistant Management Accountant ready to step upStrong understanding of core finance functions including sales and purchase ledgersConfident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationshipsHighly organised, analytical, and proactiveStrong Excel skills and a focus on process improvementKeen to take on more responsibility as the business growsThis is a superb opportunity to join a progressive, dynamic business where you can truly make an impact.Synergem Recruitment is committed to equal opportunities.
