The role offers a diverse mix of responsibilities, including payroll processing from start to finish and management accounting tasks, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop their skills further. Initially, the role will involve approximately 50% payroll and 50% management accounting, transitioning over time to focus more on management accounting (around 70%). Key Responsibilities Payroll Management (Start to Finish) Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies.Handle pension contributions, statutory payments, and deductions.Maintain payroll records and respond to employee queries. Management Accounting Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.Support tax returns, audit preparation, and statutory reporting. Financial Operations Manage bank reconciliations, expenses, and supplier payments.Oversee fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.<l
