Management Accountant Location: Leeds / Hybrid - 3 days in the office Salary & Benefits: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + study support Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing business based on the outskirts of Leeds. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you'll take full ownership of the management accounts process and provide high-quality financial insight to support strategic decision-making. The Role: As Management Accountant, you will: Take full ownership of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.Manage prepayments, accruals, and ensure robust balance sheet reconciliations.Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor capital expenditure.Deliver accurate project reporting, ROI analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting cycles.Assist with VAT returns, payroll calculations, and commissions.Support audits, compliance, and drive process improvements across finance. The Ideal Candidate Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience.Strong technical knowledge of management accounting, prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets.Proven experience in variance analysis, project accounting, and financial modelling.Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across departments.Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
