About you…

Experience of working in a maintenance department preferably within a hotel is required. You will be a good all rounder, have the ability to create a maintenance schedule, ability to troubleshoot, knowledge of structure or grounds to be maintained, knowledge of maintenance procedures, knowledge of systems to be maintained (e.g. Electrical or Plumbing or Building) and a trade qualification would be desirable

• Strong communication skills through a variety of means
• Self-motivated, adaptable,
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks
• High attention to detail and accuracy – great at managing one’s own time
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety, Fire Safety, building codes, laws and regulations and all role related statutory requirements, promoting a safety conscious working environment at all times
• A good understanding of heating, ventilation and plumbing building services, with up-to-date knowledge of maintenance techniques.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
