Maintenance Engineer - Food IndustryWaltham Cross, Herts£40,000 to £45,0005 out of 7 days – 40 hours per week (Core Hours: 1200 – 2100 or 1300 – 2200) An exciting opportunity has arisen within Reynolds Food Group for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our family run business with a nationwide network of depots, delivering fresh, frozen and chilled products to some of the most famous eateries in the UK. As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that negligible downtime occurs on all equipment within the Warehouse/Conveyor/Pick-Line operations. You will lead and deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a range of mechanical and electrical installations, at the Waltham Cross NDC and from time to time at other locations within the group, within and around the M25.What will I be doing? Design and provide Planned Preventative Maintenance for all M&E equipment (Box Erector, Print & Apply Labeller and associated Conveyor, Cardboard Baler, and Accumulation Conveyor).Attend and rectify all breakdowns that may occur to any of the above equipment.Provide user and simple fault-finding solutions to equipment users on the Conveyor/Pick-Line.Work closely with the relevant equipment providers to further develop the equipment.Maintain a working stock of key components and consumables required for repairs.Provide breakdown support to the warehouse team on other plant and equipment. e.g., High Speed Doors, Dock Levellers etc.Liaise with specialist contractors as required, for out of hours breakdowns including Refrigeration and Electrical services.Work within all H&S and environmental standards and regulations.From time to time provide specialist support to other group companies in the Greater London area.
