• lead strategic projects that will impact the future of Apple and Siri. Our cross
• functional work involves modelling, research, design, measuring, deployment, and
• so on, spanning the entire product life cycle from project inception to shipping
• models on billions of devices. The ideal candidate would have some expertise in
• language technologies and in managing or leading an engineering team.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and technologies. Detailed
• understanding of building, evaluating and release management processes for ML
• systems. Strong leadership, management, planning and co-ordination skills with
• demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across an organization. Experience
• with modern machine learning algorithms including large language models.

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with leading projects and co-ordinating work across a team. Excellent
• project management skills including project structuring and managing work
• streams interdependently. Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and
• interpersonal skills Demonstrated skill of negotiating and distilling
• sophisticated technical requirements from multiple partners into a coherent
• long-term platform roadmap. Industry experience in implementing and training
• large language models PhD or MSc in Language Technologies, Machine Learning, or
• a closely related field.
