Roles and Responsibilities 📋

As a Team Manager, you will be a pivotal leader, responsible for the operational management of the Long Term Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supervising a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred practice. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

• Managing complex and high-risk cases, providing expert guidance and support to your team. 🧠

• Undertaking performance management and professional development for all team members. 📈

• Allocating and monitoring caseloads, ensuring timely and effective interventions. ⏳

• Chairing team meetings and professional meetings, promoting a collaborative working environment. 🗣️

• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, council policies, and procedures. ✅

• Contributing to service development and continuous improvement initiatives. 🌱

• Acting as a key decision-maker in complex situations, balancing risk and wellbeing. ⚖️

Key Requirements ✨

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must be a qualified Social Worker. 🎓

• You hold a current and valid registration with Social Work England. ✅

• You have an updated enhanced DBS check. 🛡️

• You have significant post-qualifying experience in social work and leadership. 💼

• You possess a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014. 📜

• You have excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. 🗣️

• You are committed to promoting a supportive and high-performing team culture. 💖
