About the Project Aman Book Database is a UK-based initiative supporting schools, universities, libraries, and bookshops across the GCC. Our goal is to help institutions identify culturally suitable and safe reading materials for students and communities. The word “Aman” (أمان) means safety, peace, and reassurance — and that’s the foundation of our brand. We’re looking for a logo that feels credible, calm, and culturally aware, striking the right balance between formal (institutional) and educational (accessible) — roughly 10% corporate, 90% approachable professionalism. Design Direction Core visual theme: Safety and trust in reading — but not necessarily with a checkmark or shield.
