Job Title: Logistics SpecialistLocation: AberdeenDuration: 12 monthsResponsibilities:• Assist development of EPC Project Logistics Plan (Shipment lookahead, risks, strategy).• Coordinate and lead regular shipment rhythms on progress.• Optimize planning to reduce shipment volume, increase consolidation and reduce freight spend (MOT shift, contract vs spot).• Strong coordination with interfacing roles in Manufacturing, Sourcing, Projects & Materials.• Support monthly cost feedback on Logistics spend (Inbound & Outbound).• Customer point of contact on all EPC Project Logistics related matters.• Verify / Complete import & export documentation, records & registers in accordance with local customs compliance requirements.• Compliantly moving goods, whilst adhering to all company policies, International Trade compliance, HMRC and Customs regulations always.• Supporting the Logistics lead in Loadouts, arranging Kick-off meetings, aligning all parties, controlling the flow of information and enabling collaboration throughout the process to successfully loadout projects on time.• Always ensure carrier compliance.• Join and participate in all Logistic meetings.• Loading transport requests into our freight system.• Escalation point for NOR requests arranged via Requestor, Supplier and Logistics 4PL.• Sourcing the most cost effective and efficient logistic solution to the transportation request.Qualification/Requirements:• Must have a good understanding of Incoterms and strong knowledge of international logistics.• Preferred understanding Duties and Tariffs.- Good problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative and creativity.- Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and organizational skills.- In
