Birchrose Associates is representing a law firm in Yorkshire seeking a Locum Medical Negligence Solicitor for a period of 3 months, between January-March 2026. The Opportunity Our client is a respected, modern law firm with several regional offices. Due to permanent recruitment, the firm is seeking a Locum Medical Negligence Solicitor for a 3 month period. This is a full time, hybrid opportunity. However, part time hours may still be considered. Responsibilities The successful Locum Medical Negligence Solicitor will assume responsibility for a fully claimant caseload, evenly divided between Personal Injury and Medical Negligence, with a balanced mix of fast-track and multi-track work. You can expect to advise on: Claims arising from mistakes made during hospital care or treatment Cases involving errors in surgery Situations where a GP has failed to provide appropriate care Claims relating to injuries suffered by mothers during childbirth Birth-related injuries affecting newborns Issues stemming from cosmetic or aesthetic procedures Negligence involving dental treatment Benefits Attractive hourly rate Good quality work Remote / hybrid working offered Requirements Qualified in England & Wales with minimum 5 years' PQE Experience representing Claimants in fast-track and multi-track medical negligence Availability to start in January 2025 To be considered for this Locum Medical Negligence Solicitor opportunity, please contact Birchrose Associates for a confidential discussion.
