Pertemps are delighted to be supporting our esteemed client in the recruitment of a Loading Shovel Operator in Climpy.Job Title: Loading Shovel OperatorLocation: Climpy (ML11)Start Date: ASAPContract Type: Temporary to PermanentSalary: £15.00 per hourOvertime will be available, paid at time and a half/ double timeWork Schedule: Full-Time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Winter hours: 6am-3.45pmSummer hours: 7am-4.45pmResponsibilities: Operate a loading shovel to move, position, and stack track mats within the yard for washing and storage.Load and unload track mats safely and efficiently onto/from vehicles and trailers.Carry out general yard duties, including keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe.Assist with material handling operations as required to support daily yard activities.Follow all site safety procedures and instructions when operating plant and working in the yard environment. Essential Skills: Relevant and valid qualification/certification to operate a loading shovel or similar plant.Proven ability to operate plant machinery safely within a yard or industrial environment.Good awareness of health & safety practices, particularly around moving vehicles and plant.Reliable with the ability to commute to the yard using own transport.Willingness to carry out general yard duties in addition to operating plant.
