Recruit Ins are looking for a Casualty Desktop Claims Handler for a global loss adjusters to be apart of their Real Estate UK and European team, based at the Glasgow office on a hybrid basis.Casualty Claims Handler Job RoleDesktop technical handling of UK and European Real Estate Casualty Claims (typically Public Liability – injury and third-party property damage)Incoming and outgoing emails, telephone calls, video calls, correspondence to progress claims and resolve queriesControlling the lifecycle of the files to drive diary management and proactive handlingLiaising with the insured, insurers, brokers and any other stakeholders to ensure optimum customer service, becoming a point of contact for interested partiesLiaising with both our UK and European Casualty Adjusters and Account Management TeamsTime reporting and billing compliant with internal standards processing and systemsData capture and MI production for clients as well as for internal use, including performance measurement and data integrity reportsEnsuring company standards are met in relation to all technical and operational policies and procedures, including data protection and information securityAccount managementInvoicingCasualty Claims Handler Skills RequiredWe are looking for an individual with at least 2 years’ experience of handling a caseload of Casualty Claims (Public Liability is essential – both Injury and third-party property damage) on a full handling (cradle to grave) basis.The individual will have handled UK claims and be comfortable with the relevant protocols, such as the low-value claims portal.
