Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive secondary school environment?Hays Education are working closely with a well-established school in Wigan to recruit a confident and experienced TA to support across Key Stage 3 and 4.
This is a long-term opportunity, starting as soon as possible, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.Your new role:

• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 in mainstream classroom settings.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and differentiated learning.
• Providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs.
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Supporting with exam preparation and academic progress.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom support.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Hays).
