What will I be doing?
As a Leisure Centre Assistant, your main job role is to look after all the equipment within a sports or leisure facility. Most importantly though, you will love building rapport with your guests and understanding their motivations and offering support.
Hours of work: flexible working hours but generally 6.30am - 1pm, 3pm - 9.30pm or similar including some weekend work, 18 hours per week
Rate of pay: £12.75/hr
Your duties might include:
- showing the public how to use equipment such as exercise machines
- signing new customers onto the system and taking payment
- giving public the neccessary information about products
- looking after the changing rooms and lockers
- general cleaning duties
- helping instructors run fitness courses
- serving food and drinks in the cafe
- helping set up seating areas for special events

Located in the heart of Worcestershire, 10 minutes from the M5 motorway, sits Stourport Manor Hotel. Once home to Stanley Baldwin, Prime Minister three times between 1923 1927, it’s welcomed many dignitaries over the years. Set in 23 acres of wonderful grounds, the hotel has 72 bedrooms including family bedrooms, stylish wedding venue with capacity for 220 guests. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath and gym, tennis courts, squash courts and foot golf. Our secluded yet accessible location has free parking and ample landscaped gardens to create the perfect inspiration for a short break, a wedding or a business conference.

Experience:
- Leisure Centre: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Pool Emergency Responder Qualification (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
