Seeking a Legal Counsel who is sharp, savvy, and prepared to excel in our dynamic team. We are looking for a Commercial/IT/IP lawyer with 6+ years of PQE, dedicated to making a meaningful difference, and prepared to take on a pivotal position in our operations within the Northern Region (UK, Ireland, Middle East, and Africa). Your Mission Become a key consultant for our dynamic sales team, working with marketing, finance, and other teams. Your knowledge will drive our Northern Region business, particularly in the Middle East where Adobe established a new headquarters in Riyadh. What You’ll Do Draft, Review & Negotiate: Take the lead on a variety of agreements—license, professional services, consulting, statements of work, resale, distribution, sales, and licensing. You’ll keep us covered and keep deals moving. Commercial Legal Support: Partner with our business units, providing timely, commercial advice and delivering in-house training on the legal topics that matter most. Help demystify law for your colleagues! Compliance Monitor: Be proactive in tracking and offering recommendations on the newest regulations and laws that affect Adobe, with a focus on technology, AI, intellectual property, and data privacy/ security. Drive Process Improvement: Dive into knowledge management and help evolve our legal processes. Lead departmental projects that make us better, smarter, and faster. Project Legal Support: Join working groups as new projects and business practices are developed, bringing your legal and business perspective where it’s needed most. Ongoing Training & Risk Management: Carry out internal training sessions, and offer continuous support on key risks—building a culture of compliance and confidence. Who You Are Qualified Lawyer: You’ve trained and qualified with a reputable law firm or an in-house department of a comparable company, with at least 6 years PQE. Commercial/IT/IP Experience: You possess a demonstrated history in these domains, and you grasp the complexities of software, technology, and data protection concerns. Business and Risk Savvy: You see the bigger picture and understand how legal matters fit into business objectives, assess, and manage risks across multiple matters at once. Communication Ace: Your drafting and technical skills are outstanding, and you can translate complex legalese into everyday plain language. Languages: Proficient in English; Arabic a plus. Flexible & Adaptable: You’re quick on your feet, ready to adjust when the business demands change. Sense of Humour: You know how to lighten the mood and keep spirits high—essential for our team!
