This post is located the School of Psychology, Sport and Health Sciences, within the Faculty of Science and Health. All activities (education, research, innovation) within the school strategically align to our world leading research themes and centres (please review our school website for full details) with the successful candidate most likely contributing to our Culture, Behaviour, Inclusivity and Governance thematic area of expertise.

To work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a teaching team, and to act as a Module Co-ordinator (or equivalent), contributing to the design and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate Forensic Psychology programmes, while responding effectively to students’ needs. We especially encourage applications from candidates whose work focuses on offender-related topics or applied forensic practice. A desirable, but not essential, criterion is therefore that the person is Chartered in Forensic Psychology and/or registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practitioner psychologist.

To participate in and initiate teaching, scholarship, and research / innovation in accordance with the School and Faculty objectives.

Develop and deliver a research and innovation plan aligned with the school’s strategic priorities, with a demonstrable trajectory towards producing REF-returnable outputs, generating impact, and securing external research funding.

To actively seek to engage with the student experience, enhance student employability and enterprise opportunities.

To support the school in its marketing, outreach and widening participation activities.

To lead in a key area/s of the School function (e.g., as a Course Leader or equivalent administrative role).
