If so, we'd love to hear from you About the Role: We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join our supportive and inclusive primary schools across Harrogate and surroudning areas. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs as well as in the classroom, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN)Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activitiesFoster a positive and inclusive learning environmentMonitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staffSupport students with personal care needs, where requiredPromote independence, confidence, and self-esteem in all learners What We're Looking For: Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational settingA patient, empathetic, and nurturing approachStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenRelevant qualifications would be ideal but not essential.
