Learning Support Assistant

£90 - £95 a day

Randstad is currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to join our partner schools in Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas. In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth, working closely with teachers to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom environment
• Providing one-to-one support to students, addressing their individual learning needs
• Assisting with small group activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating
• Supporting students with their social and emotional development
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential
• Engaging and interactive teaching style
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
