Full time, fixed term until 31 December 2028 based on our Camperdown Campus (4 days on campus) Opportunity to create multimedia learning experiences at the University of Sydney Business School HEO 7 Base Salary $112,628 - $122,702 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Learning Innovation Office (LIO) plays a pivotal role in advancing the Business School’s education agenda. It brings together contemporary education design, media and digital capability, and a strong focus on an outstanding student experience to support the development of scalable, high-impact programs for modern learners across a portfolio of future-focused initiatives. The Learning Innovation Office is now seeking a Learning Media Producer to create multimedia learning experiences aimed at enhancing traditional, blended, and online education at the Business School. This role requires a demonstrated understanding of learning media technologies and contemporary pedagogical approaches, together with a high level of production expertise. You will be responsible for independently planning, producing, filming, and editing content as required. The role also involves actively researching, adopting, and integrating emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to continually enhance and expand the team’s production capabilities and creative approaches. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and be expected to anticipate and resolve issues that arise. Your key responsibilities will be to: manage multiple production streams across a complex program of work, including coordinating teams, delivering production plans, providing specialist guidance on learning media, supporting educator capability through digital media literacy initiatives and leading learning media analytics and reporting lead the development, production, and delivery of high-quality media assets to enhance learning and engagement, including hands-on filming and editing and creative collaboration with internal and external stakeholders build and maintain strong relationships with academics, faculty staff, and stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality multimedia learning experiences mentor and manage student and junior staff, implement stakeholder strategies, and communicate learning media processes across the team and faculty proactively research, test, and integrate emerging production technologies and techniques to expand the team’s capabilities and create resources to optimise workflows and build specialised expertise within the team. About you significant experience in one or more of the following: digital video production, feature or short-from documentary, broadcast television, studio operations experience in learning curriculum design, preferably in a tertiary education environment with a passion for education and creating first-class learning experiences for students experience in video content creation and production, with extensive practical experience in media production and postproduction advanced Adobe Creative Cloud experience, particularly using Premiere Pro. After Effects and Photoshop experience advantageous strong teamwork, collaboration and relationship building skills to effectively liaise with other areas in the university.
