About
We are building a small, high-performing lead qualification team to support our global digital marketing and admissions operation. Your role will be to engage with new inbound leads — prospective students who have submitted forms on our websites — and identify those who are genuinely qualified and ready to progress in the admissions journey. You’ll operate much like an SDR in a SaaS environment, but for the education sector: following up quickly, qualifying interest and fit, and moving the most promising leads forward to the next stage of the sales or admissions process. The goal is to convert interest into action — ensuring every potential student receives a timely, professional, and human first touch. Key Responsibilities Engage new leads within hours of submission via phone, WhatsApp, and email (using Aircall & Salesforce). Qualify leads by understanding their background, study interests, motivations, and ability to enrol. Record key details and update lead statuses and call notes accurately in Salesforce. Book meetings or calls for qualified leads directly with admissions or recruitment teams (where applicable). Follow up on unresponsive leads systematically through predefined sequences (automated + manual). Collaborate with the digital marketing and CRM teams to refine scripts, workflows, and automations. Provide insights on lead quality, recurring objections, and communication performance to improve campaigns and targeting. Key Metrics Contact rate (speed to first contact + % of leads reached). Qualification rate (% of contacted leads deemed qualified). Meetings booked (with admissions or recruitment teams). Response rate (across email, WhatsApp, and phone). Accuracy and completeness of CRM updates. Tools & Systems CRM: Salesforce (core platform for lead management & tracking). Communication: Aircall (calls, WhatsApp, SMS integration). Automation: Integrated workflows and email templates (partially automated, with manual inputs required initially). Profile & Requirements Excellent spoken and written English with a clear, neutral accent. Strong communication and empathy skills — able to connect quickly and build rapport with prospective students from diverse backgrounds. Organised and detail-oriented — accurate data entry and consistent follow-up are critical. Comfortable in a startup environment — adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented as systems evolve. Previous experience in SDR, inside sales, education counselling, or customer engagement is highly desirable. Confident using CRM systems, call tools, and structured qualification frameworks (e.g. BANT, SPIN, etc.). Working Hours & Regions Focus on North America, Europe, and Middle East time zones. Flexibility required to work across multiple markets and adapt communication accordingly. Compensation & Structure Contract (Upwork or freelance) to start, with potential to evolve into a full-time role for the right candidate. Base pay with opportunity for performance-based incentives in future (e.g. per qualified lead or booked meeting). Success in This Role Looks Like You consistently respond to new leads within hours. You identify the right prospects efficiently, filtering out poor fits early. You leave every potential student with a positive impression of the brand. You help admissions teams focus on the highest-quality leads. You bring ideas to improve scripts, processes, and tools as the team scales.
