- A candidate who has an excellent knowledge of data networking principles as well as a high level of skill operating various network management systems. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Low latency network and systems engineering, deployment and operations experience achieved in Market Data provider, Prop Trading and Exchange (connectivity) environments. Someone who has expert level abilities in configuration and management of Low Latency Network Routers and Switches. A candidate who has a strong ability to decode packet captures to help identify network and application issues. It is a very desirable to have the ability to write scripts to manage aspects of the NMS platforms as well as create automated reports and metrics. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Ability to prioritize along with good time management skills is required.
