Lead Engineer - Shallow Water Cable Lay/InstallationBlyth, Permanent - Full Time, Hybrid (3 days onsite)Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + benefitsThe Lead Engineer will have responsibility for planning and coordinating the technical expertise and services required to ensure successful delivery of high quality engineering to meet commercial and technical needs. The scope will include studies and tenders as well as live projects.Responsibilities include: Provide specialist skills, integrity and knowledge in project or tender engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice. Ensure feasibility, soundness and best adequation of proposed methodology for shallow water cable laying, trenching and other operations. Undertake responsibility for review and production of deliverables, such as execution plans, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, Scopes of Work, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party documentations. Organise HIRA reviews with all required stakeholders, making sure that highlighted actions are realized. Support the Principal Engineer and Project Engineering Manager in performing andcoordinating engineering for successful project delivery. Ensure all tools and equipment are available onsite for a safe execution of the work.Must Have: Prior experience with Shallow Water Cable Lay/Installations. Prior experience mentoring junior engineers. Experience in design of installation aids and other equipment required for use offshore or for use onshore in preparation for offshore activities. Knowledge of how to manage the preparation of any engineering analysis of tasks relating to installation, to ensure the structural/operational integrity of the equipment during installation.Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Enginee
