Pay Rate: £13.95 - £14.50 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced and reliable General Building Operative for an ongoing commercial refurbishment project off the A690 near houghton

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting skilled tradespeople (joiners, plasterers, electricians).

• Site clearance, moving materials, and manual handling.

• Basic demolition and strip-out tasks.

• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe site environment.

• Use of basic hand and power tools.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card is essential. Asbestos awareness desirable

• Previous experience on a construction or refurbishment site.

• Understanding of on-site health and safety.

• Punctual, hardworking, and able to work well within a team.
