Our client is a prestigious public sector organisation and looking for an experienced L and D specialist to join their teamThis is initially a 3 month contract which may be the right applicantYou willDevelop a compelling, forward-looking vision for the Academy as the central hub for all learning, development, and talent management activity.Design a high-level strategy and roadmap for integrating upskilling, customer service, BAU L&D, and Talent Management pathways into the Academy.Identify key priorities, success measures, and milestones for the Academy?s evolution.Stakeholder Engagement & InfluenceWork closely with the Director of Organisational Capability and senior leaders to ensure the Academy?s strategy aligns with organisational goals.Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights, test ideas, and build consensus around the Academy?s future direction.Act as a strategic advisor, providing thought leadership on best practice in L&D and talent strategy.Integration & AlignmentMap current and future learning and talent management activities, identifying opportunities for integration and simplification under the Academy umbrella.Ensure the Academy?s strategy supports a seamless employee experience, from onboarding through to ongoing development and talent progression.Strategic CommunicationArticulate the clients vision and strategy clearly and persuasively to a range of audiences, ensuring buy-in and understanding across the organisation.Prepare high-level presentations, strategy documents, and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.Digital Intelligence & Future ReadinessProvide thought leadership on the integration of emerging digital trends, technologies, and future skills into the long-term
