Key Stage 2 Teacher Job - Maternity Cover (Full-Time) We are recruiting a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position starting as soon as possible and running until July 2026 at a well-established school in Blackburn, Lancashire. This role is ideal for a qualified primary teacher with experience or interest in KS2 teaching, who is passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and supporting pupils' academic and pastoral development. The Role Full-time Key Stage 2 teaching role Responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing the KS2 curriculum Monitoring pupil progress and providing effective feedback Maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues Contributing to school life, including trips and co-curricular activities Person Specification Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree and PGCE (or equivalent) Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum Ability to plan differentiated, engaging lessons Excellent classroom and behaviour management Professional, positive and team-focused approach Commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusion Ability to remain calm and professional at all times Experience teaching Key Stage 2 is desirable but not essential.
