- Job Description
- The Knowledge Management Team Administrator role sits within the Knowledge Management Team and reports into the Knowledge and Engagement Lead.
- This is an internal customer facing role supporting the Knowledge management team and the wider business. The role will cover a range of duties;
- first line support to the business by answering queries and making content updates to our intranet
- training and user support
- analytical reporting
- other administration duties needed to support the Knowledge Management function.
- You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with stakeholders in the business and play an integral part in making sure our intranet successfully gives our people the access to information, systems and data that they need to do their roles on a day to day basis.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to email queries and content update requests in our dedicated intranet inbox
- Helping with the management of content within our intranet environment including loading text, images, videos, infographics, adhering to our intranet standards and using the appropriate templates and styles
- Providing training and support to our site owners and working with the team leader to produce training documentation when required
- Providing end-user support and encouraging user adoption by directing users to training material and available resources, and advising site owners on structural and quality expectations
- Provide administrative support to the wider KM team as and when needed for example rebranding and reformatting of documents
- Maintain and own our intranet ‘Look book’ and our ‘Knowledge management’ site and ensure that content is kept up to date and relevant
- Support our regional communications teams with the publishing of news articles if required
- Provide analytical reporting to site owners on site usage and user behaviour
- Ensure on time delivery of all work undertaken to meet business objectives
- Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has
- Previous experience of using Microsoft's Office 365 suite
- Good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to create and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Good administration and organisation skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- The ability to follow internal procedures and utilise predefined templates and styles
- The ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A keen eye for detail
