School Kitchen Manager

Location: Oldham
⏰ Hours: Monday – Friday 6:45am – 2pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to join a busy school environment in Oldham. This is a temporary position, perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about delivering nutritious meals to young people.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
- Lead, manage, and motivate a small catering team
- Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals in line with dietary guidelines
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene are maintained
- Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen budgets
- Comply with all health & safety and food safety regulations

Requirements:

✅ Previous experience in a similar role (e.g. school kitchen, catering manager, head cook)
✅Strong leadership and organisational skills
✅Ability to work independently and manage a small team
✅Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)
