• The Role

• We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic part time Kitchen Assistant to join our small, kitchen team on a casual basis (10-25 hrs per week).
• You’ll support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in delivering a beautiful food service to our members and event clients. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
• The hourly rate is £12.60 and we are very flexible with how the hours are split across the week. We are open Mon-Fri (8am until late) but there would be occasional weekend shifts.
• Key Responsibilities
• Support food preparation under the direction of the Head Chef
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and compliant with food safety standards
• Wash, dry, and store crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
• Receive and store deliveries safely and efficiently
• Assist with stock rotation and daily cleaning routines
• Ensure health & safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times
• About You
• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must have!
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• A food hygiene certificate would be great but essential as training will be provided
