Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our kiosk team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety. Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and street food items within our Panku kiosk in Asda Newton Mearns according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kiosk and customer fridge, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Serve customers with a friendly and positive attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Maintain accurate food safety records throughout the working day.
• Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is preferred, particularly in sushi preparation although training provided on site.
• Basic culinary skills and kitchen experience are advantageous for this position.
• Understanding of food safety principles and practices is essential.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Self motivated and an ability to work alone on own initiative.
• Please note that a trial in the kitchen will form part of the interview process.
• Paid breaks with food provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
