About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational and committed Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join us. This role is a fantastic opportunity to teach children in Years 1 and 2, solidifying their literacy and numeracy skills while fostering their curiosity across all subjects.

Your Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum for KS1.
- Creating a stimulating, tidy, and positive classroom environment that promotes pupil engagement and excellent behaviour.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, setting ambitious targets for improvement.
- Utilising formative and summative assessment data effectively to inform future planning and intervention strategies.
- Managing Teaching Assistants and other support staff effectively within the classroom to ensure targeted support.
- Building strong, positive working relationships with parents/carers, participating in parents' evenings, and communicating effectively regarding pupil progress.
- Actively contributing to the development of the KS1 curriculum and the wider life and ethos of the school.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures and educational best practices.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and inspiring teacher who has a genuine passion for Key Stage 1 education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2).
- Excellent subject knowledge across the KS1 National Curriculum, especially in phonics and early mathematics.
- A track record of raising pupil attainment and ensuring excellent progress.
- Outstanding classroom management skills and the ability to foster a nurturing yet disciplined learning environment.
- High levels of organisation, resilience, and adaptability.
- A collaborative spirit and a commitment to working effectively as part of a team.
