Our client is a market leading ALSP. They are currently looking to engage with a junior corporate Lawyer for an assignment of at least 6 months in duration with a Fintech client. The role will start ASAP and can be undertaken on a remote basis within the UK. The end client will consider individuals looking to work 4 or 5 days per week. The successful individual can expect to be: Managing and assisting with legal response to corporate and wider matters encountered by the company and internal stakeholdersLeading external communication on legal matters including negotiation with external partiesAssisting in transactional activities including M&A, majority and minority investments and joint ventures as well as restructurings globallyLeading, advising and supporting on a wide variety of transactional, reorganisation and governance initiativesIdentifying legal framework developments and aligning and promoting consistency of approach across internal stakeholders Successful candidates should have a strong corporate law background, along with corporate reorganisation and restructuring experience. The successful Lawyer will likely be able to demonstrate: Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as New Zealand and/or Australia, for example)Possess upwards of 2 years' PQE in handling a full range of corporate legal mattersExperience across a full range of corporate M&A, restructuring and reorganisation mattersExperience gained within another in-house environment would be highly desirableThe ability to start a new role immediately or at short noticeThe capacity to commit to a 6 month assignmentBe based in England, Scotland or Wales The role will pay a daily rate inside IR35.
