About

We are a growing Amazon FBA reselling business seeking an experienced and proactive Amazon FBA Product Research Specialist. This is a deep-research role, not simple supplier-list uploading or basic scanning. We need someone who can uncover profitable opportunities across multiple Amazon marketplaces and generate high-quality, accurate data reports. What You Will Do Your responsibilities will include intensive research across multiple areas of Amazon product analysis: 1. Supplier List Research & Product Matching Analyze supplier lists using barcode lookup tools. Manually verify and match items where barcodes/EANs differ from Amazon listings (this is common). Return results with accurate ASIN matches, titles, and images. 2. Competitor Seller Analysis Scrape and analyze rival sellers’ product portfolios. Provide detailed reports including: Amazon-stocked vs. non-Amazon-stocked listings Whether listings are gated or ungated All sellers currently listing the product (seller usernames) 3. International / Cross-Marketplace Product Research Identify products originating from other countries being sold on Foreign Amazon sites (e.g., UK to DE, DE to FR, etc.). Track cross-border pricing and demand opportunities. 4. UPC/EAN Database Research Pull detailed information on EAN origins, including the original registered country or region. Use this to help determine authenticity, sourcing opportunities, and potential brand restrictions. 5. Sales Estimates, Fees & Profitability For each identified product, provide: Estimated daily sales FBA fees Net margins Any relevant risk notes (e.g., Amazon competition, gating, brand restrictions) 6. Data Handling & Organisation Work through large batches of supplier lists and brand data. Maintain a structured workflow to manage significant volumes of research. All final deliverables must include product images within Excel reports. 7. Locating of New Brands We need to locate New Brands that have a poor showing on Amazon. Maybe they are a big German Brand but aren't being fulfilled by Amazon in the USA for example, leading to poor sales. 8. Old listings lookups We need someone who can scrap old Amazon listings that have been archived or significantly dropped down search results due to a hike in price or zero stock availability. Required Skills & Experience We are looking for someone with real experience—not beginners. You should have: Strong Amazon FBA research background (wholesale/reselling preferred) Ability to manually verify matches beyond automatic barcode scanning Experience scraping or analyzing competitor sellers Knowledge of EAN/UPC lookup tools Familiarity with Amazon restrictions, gating, and brand rules Comfort working across multiple global Amazon marketplaces Ability to generate accurate, well-structured Excel reports Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create your own research methods where needed High level of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Tools Experience (Not required, but a big plus) Keepa SellerAmp / SAS Helium 10 Jungle Scout Any scraping tools or custom research scripts What We Provide Large volumes of supplier lists Brand catalogs Ongoing product research tasks every week Clear structure for reporting and communication What You Must Provide in Your Application To be considered, you must include: A brief summary of your experience with Amazon FBA product research Examples of similar research projects you’ve completed A sample of a data-heavy Excel report you’ve created (if available) Tools you use and methods you prefer Your estimated turnaround speed for daily research volumes Why This Role Is Different This is NOT simple data entry. We need a dynamic researcher who can: Think creatively Fill data gaps that software cannot Adapt when product information is inconsistent or missing Work with complexity and large datasets If you're skilled, efficient, and capable of deep product analysis, we’d like to hear from you.
